A BILL to amend and reenact section nineteen, article eleven,
chapter twenty-one of the code of West Virginia, one thousand
nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, relating to continuing
the contractor licensing board until the first day of July,
two thousand two.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That section nineteen, article eleven, chapter twenty-one of
the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as
amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 11. WEST VIRGINIA CONTRACTOR LICENSING ACT.
§21-11-19. Termination of board.
The West Virginia contractors contractor licensing board shall
be terminated pursuant to the provisions of article ten, chapter
four of this code, on the first day of July, one thousand nine
hundred ninety-seven, unless sooner terminated or unless continued
or reestablished pursuant to that article two thousand two.

(NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to continue the West
Virginia Contractor Licensing Board until July 1, 2002, pursuant to the provisions of the West Virginia Sunset Law.
